Desperate for God’

Based on Psalm 42: 1-8 ‘ is a reminder of need to find God in our desperate struggles in these difficult times. We live in interesting times, a time of desperation like never before in recent history, people are sick, jobs are lost, members of the human family are dying in droves, global economy is crashing under its own weight, majority of the nations of the world are in dire situations, the science community is scrambling to respond appropriately and our lives have been distorted.

But the child of God must never give up in the midst of all these and that is if his/her desperation is towards God the Creator of all things. The Psalmist and as well as the Apostle Paul understood that peace is not the absence of trouble but a state of mind in times of trouble. We too can draw from those intrinsic measures of strength to help us convert failures into triumphs and maintain them through Jesus Christ our Lord and the one who had saved us.

It is my prayer today that this Podcast becomes a source of blessings to you. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
