Where would you spend your eternity?

Based on (John 14:1-6), Where would you spend your eternity? Is a clarion call to Christians and everyone else who cares about eternity to consider what they are doing about eternity. Eternity is a serious future to consider because of the ephemerality of this world.  (2 Peter 3:10) informs us that “the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly like a thief in the night; and on that day, the sky will vanish with a roar, the elements will melt with intense heat, and the earth and all the works done on it will be seen as they truly are.” If you consider seriously eternity you will not be taken by surprise.

The reason why Jesus Christ came to us is because of eternity, however, eternity cannot be discussed in isolation of Heaven and Hell because in the end these two destinations are what is on offer so, while we preach, teach and talk about salvation, faithfulness, and grace, we do need to understand that the reason for salvation is because of eternity, the reason why we seek to live lives of faithfulness to God is because of eternity and the reason we ask for the grace of God is because of eternity no more no less, therefore, subtracting eternity from our gospel is tantamount to no gospel at all.

Through this podcast I want you to know that there is still time if have not taken the matter of eternity to heart yet.   One day, you will be standing right before your maker and there would be no time to make amend so I ask you today away from everything else that you will give this message a prayerful thought. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
