The Rushing Mighty Wind of Change (Pentecost)

Based on Acts 2:1-22 “The Rushing Mighty Wind of Change” is a reflection on Pentecost, highlighting its importance and the meaning. Pentecost is not meant as a mere celebration or speaking in tongues randomly. The purpose of Pentecost was to enable the primary disciples and by extension believers today to become expert witnesses for Jesus Christ and God's mission on this side of eternity. Thus, the purpose of the Rushing Mighty Wind was to equip them in that Upper room with the power to testify effectively. Peter's personal encounter with the Rushing Mighty Wind transformed his life, leading him to become a fisher of men, no longer content with fishing for fish. Peter did not just spoke in an unknown tongue on the day of Pentecost or after Pentecost but went on to testify to others about Jesus Christ. A personal encounter with God is an awe-inspiring experience” it gives you boldness and clarity about your faith in Christ.

It is my prayer that this Podcast blesses you. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
