The need for Spiritual Jettison

Based on Jonah 1:4-16 ‘The need for Spiritual Jettison’ is an encouragement from one believer to another about the need to cast off the unnecessary cargo that has the potential to sink your spiritual ship. Jettison is an intentional act of throwing overboard of cargo, or of part of the vessel's superstructure, to lighten a vessel so as to stabilise it during turbulence.

Whenever, there is a turbulence in your life, rather than worry about why the storm is there, you should instead find the reason for why God permits the storm, maybe there is something in your life that you need to deal with, maybe there is something you need to jettison as we will find out in this podcast. It is my earnest prayer that this podcast blesses you.

Shalom

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
