The Miracle of Recovery

Based on  2 Kings 6:1-7 ‘The Miracle of Recovery’ is a reflection on the intriguing story of the ‘lost axe’ recovered by miracle. Life can be tough, we lose things that we love such as family members, friends, and jobs; sometimes, we recover them and at other times we don’t. This podcast focuses our thoughts on the miracle of the recovery of  things that are important to us even when it seems trivial to others. Tragically, some of us refuse to accept that our axe heads are lost and continue to work and work with the axe handle because we have been taught that that is faith, however, you have got to remember that faith is not a denial of reality, instead it is a positive acceptance that is anchored on God to do what He says He will do. It is my earnest prayer that this podcast blesses you. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
