Showing Mercy to the Undeserving

Based on 2 Samuel 9:1-11 “Showing Mercy to the Undeserving” a call for justice to all of God’s creation especially those He created in His own very image. No one created by God is undeserving because every single creation of God is deserving otherwise God the creator would not expend His time creating a worthless and an “undeserving individual”. God is all knowing and in His omniscience formed you who is making out time to listen to this podcast today. God’s servant David never seems to forget where God took him from and raised him to be King over His people and in recognition of God’s mercies and kindness over his life he had the opportunity to demonstrate God’s generosity to Mephibosheth, an undeserving member of the household of his predecessor King Saul and for the sake of Jonathan. This divine act of mercy and kindness should drive all us every day to seek out others who may be in want of food, friendship and fellowships.

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
