Rising from the Ashes

Based on Luke 24:1-8 ‘Rising from the Ashes’ is a reflection on the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead on the first Easter morning. Easter in the Christian calendar marks the climax of the events of the death, burial and the ultimate resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Each calendar year we are reminded yet again of this singular and most important event in the Christian history therefore, as you listen to this particular podcast may it also bring you into that space that allows you to re-evaluate your relationship to the rising Christ because without the resurrection your faith is in vain.

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
