Pressing Forward; Discounting the Opportunity to look back

Based on Hebrews 11:13-16 Pressing Forward; Discounting the Opportunity to look back invites listeners of this Podcast to reflect on the timeline they are working on and the importance of recognising that God’s own time is always the best. Understanding the demarcation of time and space in the way that the Master of the universe understands it will bring us to freedom from total dependency on simulated calendar that is driven by man’s enthusiasm to be in charge. If anything, the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that we are not entirely in charge as we think. With this in mind, what we must do as people of God to be successful in living for God’s predestined purposes is to keep on pressing forward and discount the ever present opportunities to look back.  I pray that the Lord will bless all of you out there. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
