Parable of a Father and Two sons

Based on the Gospel of Luke 15:11-32, the ‘Parable of a Father and Two sons’, I am inspired to share with you a succinct insight and the distinctive characters of the three main actors in the metaphor of what is called the prodigal son. This is a story that have been told and retold countless of times, each time the story is told it is told with enthusiasm from different angles and depending on the narrator. It is also a story with a melodramatic composition that though began on a sad note ended in a happy place. The key character as we would see was a person of great flaw of character but was wise enough to retrace his steps back to his father, back to reality. Sad because he jumped the gun and demanded for his share of his father’s estate before it was due him and happy because he realised in time to receive forgiveness and restoration from his father. It is my prayer in listening to this message it will bless you. Shalom.

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
