Making the Best of Situations

Based on Psalm 48:2 & Psalm 50:2 ‘Making the Best of Situations’ calls on listeners of this podcast to reflect on the beauty and joy of Jerusalem, the "joy of the whole earth" (Psalm 48:2) and explore how its story parallels their lives as Christians. Despite facing destruction and hardship, Jerusalem symbolised God's presence and hope. Just as Jerusalem in its trouble days overcame, we too can can find beauty and strength in every situation through our faith in Jesus Christ. It is my prayer for you today that this message blesses you. Amen!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
