Based on Luke 19:1-10 “Leave your ugly past to Jesus Christ” invites listeners to explore the transformative power of surrendering our past to Jesus Christ. Our burdens of mistakes, regrets, and wrongdoings can weigh heavily on us, causing guilt and shame. However, Jesus offers us a way out of this burden. Through the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10, we witness a remarkable turnaround in his life. Zacchaeus, despised as a tax collector, was desperate for change. Zacchaeus demonstrated his longing for transformation. Jesus recognised his potential and called him by name. By understanding the principle of faith and embracing our new identity in Christ, we can leave our past behind no matter how ugly. Though it may always be there, it doesn't define us. Trusting in God's power to transform, we can embark on a new future filled with His grace and redemption. I pray that this Podcast blesses you.

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
