Hope in Grief (Easter)

Based on Matthew 27:55-6 ‘Hope in Grief’ invites believers to take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the sad event of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection so as to understand that no matter how unpalatable a situation might appear, for the child of God there would always be a reason to be hopeful.

The women in our key passage today were resilient even in their grieve for Christ, they refused to be intimidated by the soldiers and the authorities, they had hope in their grieve, that was the reason they continued to follow Jesus Christ even in death, they wanted a chance to love him even under difficult situations unlike some of the disciples who went hiding and later fishing for fishes. It is my prayers that your grieves never take you far away from Jesus Christ.

Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
