Difficult Seasons of Life

Based on (Ecclesiastes 3:1-14) ‘Difficult Seasons of life’ calls listeners of this podcast to reflect on the presence of God in difficult seasons. Life is dynamic and therefore, unpredictable. The year 2020 is a year to remember; as we approach winter season and the end of this calendar year 2020, I am inspired to reflect on the remarkable events of the year, and I can safely conclude that indeed 2020 has been an interesting year. It has been a year that prolonged darkness covered the  face of the whole earth in recent history, not in terms somatic but the darkness that is catastrophic in nature and has orchestrated and accelerated the substantial decrease of the human population by over a million and counting. The key text for this podcast presents a platform for us to consider the cyclical nature of life and find God’s place in it so that we can trust Him to see us through. The reason we must put our trust in God in difficult season is because He brings light into our darkness and order into our chaos. It is therefore, my prayer that this podcast blesses somebody.

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
