Dealing with the Ministry of Distraction

Based on (Nehemiah 6:1-17) ‘Dealing with the Ministry of Distraction’ invites listeners of this podcast to consider the scheming of the enemy as they seek to undermine our God given visions for our lives as exemplified in the story of Nehemiah and how he overcame the agents of the ministry of distraction in the characters of Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem. However, it is worth remembering that Nehemiah overcame because Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem were on direct collision course with the plan of God. To enjoy the same measure of victory over our adversaries we too must recognise as did Nehemiah the importance of our  vision and project so much so that we are prepared  not to give it up easily when confronted by the ministry of distraction. It is my pray that this podcast blesses you. Shalom!

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
