Balancing Act

Based on Daniel 1:8-16 '' reminds listeners of this podcast the importance of living in a parallel world, a world of spiritual and material, sacred and secular. I reckon that this is sometime problematic and we are tempted to deny the fact, conversely, however much  we deny this fact, it is the human reality. It is therefore this reality that I am referring to as balancing act. The question is not that this reality exist but how we as followers of Jesus Christ approach it.

Misunderstanding  parallelism  has led many to extremism or compromise but clear understanding of the Bible is sure to help all of us in getting our balancing act right, the story of Daniel is a fine example of balancing act and this is what  this podcast is about. It is my earnest prayer that the Holy Spirit illuminate your understanding. Shalom

Michael Angley Ogwuche

Since 1987, the Reverend Michael Angley Ogwuche has been actively preaching the Gospel. He firmly believes that his primary calling to preach and write comes from God's grace. Michael is an ardent advocate for social justice, displaying a genuine interest in fairness for all. He regards the Bible as the infallible Word of God, an invaluable and essential tool for navigating life on this planet. Additionally, he firmly holds the belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should not be limited in any way, but rather should be proclaimed through various platforms, including podcasts (Isaiah 61:1). To accomplish this, Michael strives to breathe life into the ancient teachings of the Bible, ensuring that they are comprehensible in the present era. With extensive ministerial training and experience, Michael is a resolute and mission-oriented minister. He has served as a Street Evangelist, Director of Bible Correspondence Courses, a Pentecostal pastor, and an R&R Methodist presbyter in Africa and the UK. However, in recent times, you can find Michael ministering as a chaplain, offering spiritual support and guidance to the sick in hospital wards and inmates in prison cells.
